Put these 5 skills together to understand what is said in both, and differentiate between citations from prior research and the writer's ideas
Skill 1: Understand what is being cited, and where the citation starts and ends from sources at the beginning of a sentence and expressions such as としている (claims) and 指摘している (points out)
Skill 2: Understand what is being cited, and where the citation starts and ends, from a source at the end of a sentence
Skill 3: Understand what is being cited, and where the citation starts and ends from a source in the middle of a sentence
Skill 4: Understand what the writer's ideas are from expressions such as 考えられる (is thought) and といえる (can be said)
