The following expressions show what promotes and what is promoted.

■ 促進する (promote)
は and を appear before expressions such as 促す (promote) and 高める (increase). What appears before は is what promotes, and what appears between は and を is what is promoted.
■コミュニケーション風土は仕事コミットメントを促進する (The communication climate promotes job commitment)
