【Skill 7】When there is a condition expressed by と (conditional marker) and a condition expressed by ても (even if), listen to identify which condition is necessary

When there are conditions expressed by と (conditional marker), たら (if), and 場合 (in the case of), and also conditions expressed by ても (even if) and でも (even if), listen to identify the condition expressed by と (conditional marker), たら (if), and 場合 (in the case of). The condition expressed by と (conditional marker), たら (if), and 場合 (in the case of) is the necessary condition.

In the following audio, the necessary condition is 甲状腺ホルモンが足りない (there is a deficiency of thyroid hormone), which is stated before と (conditional marker) . It is not たくさん食べる (you eat a lot), which is stated before ても (even if).

■ 甲状腺ホルモンが足りないと、たくさん食べても、体に力が出なくなります。 (If there is a deficiency of thyroid hormone, even if you eat a lot, your body will lose strength.)
