【Skill 2】Know that you may be asked questions depending on the conditions and types of the clothes

When the store clerk is checking clothes, the following questions are often asked at the dry cleaners counter depending on the conditions and types of the clothes.
 
 ■ Whether to remove stains and sweat
 ■ Either to fold shirts or put them on hangers
 ■ A separate fee is required for belts and hoods, and if it is okay
 ■ Whether to crease the pants
 
If you bring in clothes with stains, you may be asked whether to remove stains.
There is often a separate fee for removing stains.
When you bring in summer clothes, you may be asked whether to remove sweat.
A separate fee will be charged for removing sweat.
 
When you bring in a shirt, you may be asked, “Which is better, to fold it or put it on a hanger?”
It may be cheaper to put it on a hanger.
You may also be asked if you want to put blouses, dresses or sweaters on the hangers, but the price will not change.
 
If you have accessories such as belts or hoods that may be removed, you will be charged separately.
You may be asked, “An extra fee will be charged, is that okay?”
You may choose not to have accessories such as belts and hoods dry cleaned.
 
When you bring in your pants, you may be asked whether to crease.
Usually there is no extra charge.
