【Skill 6】Understand what kind of relationship exists between one thing and another from と and には and expressions such as 正の (positive) appearing before 関係 (relationship)
The following expressions show that there is a correlation between 2 things.
■ 関係 (relationship)
■ 相関関係 (correlation)
と and には appear before 関係 (relationship). There is a relationship between what appears before と and what appears between と and には.
■ 人的資源管理と従業員の職務成果には、正の相関関係がある (There is a positive correlation between human resources management and employees' job performance)
If 正の (positive) appears before 関係, there is a positive relationship between these 2 things, while if 負の appears before 関係, there is a negative relationship between them.
■ 規範的コミットメントと職場満足度には正の相関関係がある (There is a positive correlation between normative commitment and workplace satisfaction)
■ 情動的コミットメントと離職意思には負の相関関係がある (There is a negative correlation between normative commitment and employee's intentions to quit their jobs)
